New Reference Highlights
The Music Library has received volume 9 of The Orchestra Musician's CD-ROM Library. This collection, entitled Strauss, Sibelius and more, includes complete orchestral parts to 50 works. It is available on permanent reserve in the Music Library under call no. MUR ComFile. M1000 .O734 2007 v.9.
We also received the AAF Member Competitions directory. It lists piano competitions that are members of the Alink-Argerich Foundation in 2009, 2010, and 2011. It is available in the Music Library reference collection under call no. MUR ML75.5 .A235 2009.
Finally, we received Ronald S. Rosen's Music and Copyright. It is available in the Music Library reference collection under call no. MUR KF3035 .R67 2008.

Public Domain Orchestral Parts to be Avaliable Online
The Internet Music Score Library Project (IMSLP) has begun a new project to make orchestral parts in the public domain widely available. You can read about it here.
